Keeper league, but no prospect roster so everyone on the roster is active.
G, A, P, PPG, PPA, PPP, +/-, PIM, SHP, SOG, FW, GWG, W, GA, GAA, SV, SV%, SO
The offer presented to me is:
Getzlaf
for
Tavares
Lidstrom
I feel I'm a top team there with as solid a shot as anyone to win now. My roster:
Tumor named Marla:
*Ryan Getzlaf (Anh - C)
*Jonathan Toews (Chi - C)
*Mike Richards (Phi - C)
*Mike Fisher (Ott - C)
Viktor Kozlov (Was - C)
Sergei Fedorov (Was - C)
*Henrik Zetterberg (Det - C,LW)
*Zach Parise (NJ - LW)
*Erik Cole (Car - LW,RW)
Todd Bertuzzi (Cgy – LW)
Daniel Carcillo (Phi - LW)
Nigel Dawes (Pho - LW)
*Corey Perry (Anh - RW)
*Martin Havlat (Min - RW)
*Drew Stafford (Buf - RW)
*Steve Sullivan (Nsh - LW,RW)
Maxim Afinogenov (Buf - RW)
*Niklas Kronwall (Det - D)
*Duncan Keith (Chi - D)
*John-Michael Liles (Col - D)
*A. Pietrangelo (Stl - D)
*Johnny Oduya (NJ - D)
Dennis Seidenberg (Car - D)
Shane O'Brien (Van - D)
*Carey Price (Mon - G)
*Miikka Kiprusoff (Cgy - G)
*J.S. Giguere (ANA - G)
Antero Niittymaki (Phi - G)
*known keepers
known drops
anyone unmarked, I am undecided on
subject to change until we've reached the deadline
We keep:
3 Centers
3 Left Wingers
3 Right Wingers
4 Defenseman
2 Goalies
(total of 15 players)
plus an additional 5 slots for any position, or we can choose not to use them and have additional draft picks
My view is that I rarely trade something proven for something that's not. There are many more players that are highly regarded that never reach their initial projections than ones that do. Therefore, I'm not super inclined to deal a young PPG player for someone that should get there. That said, Lidstrom helps lighten to points loss for at least next season and maybe another. That gives time for Tavares to approach Getzlaf's production. If Tavares doesn't become that player though, I lose bigtime in the deal.
Thanks fellas.
