16 team, Roto, 15 keepers G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SHP, SOG, FW Games, Wins, Shutouts, Saves, Save%, GAA roster pos | keep | probably | maybe | drop | c | ribiero | sundin, kesler | peverly, ott, umberger | nielsen, christensen | l | gagne, clowe | smyth | cole, tkachuk | | r | pominville, antropov | kovalev, selanne | | | d | markov | mccabe | pitkanen, yandle | bell | d | backstrom, miller | howard | | danis, fernandez |
See anything grossly wrong in that list? So if Sundin signs, then that would mean the "keep" and "probably" columns make up my 15 keepers. Any disagreements on those? If Sundin doesn't, replace him with Peverly?

keep peverley over sundin a million times. and i'd say move yandle into the 'probably' column, but i think he might just be the unlucky #16 on this roster. The only thing I'd consider if keeping yandle or pitkanen over howard, but detroit still has yet to sign a backup for osgood... looks like howard is the guy this year.

I lost my faith in Sundin he went from fantasy stud to drama queen. Where ever he goes drama follows to the detriment of FH managers. I'd draft him but not keep him over kessler or peverly.
H think keeping howard is a good idea unless wings announce a signing like zoom said.
I am starting to worry about Smyth I think is fantasy retirement may be soon, might consider a younger guy over him or even cole back in CAR.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I've got some age issues on this team. I had won the league the previous year and worked (unsuccessfully) to defend the title. So I ended up taking on some age (sundin, kovalev, selanne, smyth, tkachuk). I'd like to be able to move one or two of the old guys before the season starts but am not real hopeful.

i think letting smyth walk could be a mistake... i bet we'll see some serious numbers out of him in LA, possibly nearing his career high of 70. he's still only 33... certainly over the hill, but at least 3 years from rock bottom.

Smyth battles so hard against the defence I think the years are taking its toll but your right what he can do in LA may be worth hanging on to. He has a 45-50 pt. floor IMO but 60 is possible and 70 is not out of reach if the stars align.
