i think everyone should know right now that taking down Ovechkin isn't enough to stop him from scoring you need to shoot the man and kill him and even then he could find a way to score... not even fair. haha

Just came here to see if someone had posted this. Just when you think we've seen his best he pulls something like this. The guy is quickly becoming the most exciting player the NHL has ever seen. Gretzky and Lemeuix were two of the best offensive players ever. But I've never seen anyone with Ovechkin's excitement level.

OT: I guess these youtube vids start coming with ads now...thats lame. Who even looks at those things...I mean how is money being generated? Any of you guys ever look at an ad, and go, "oh man, I gotta find out more about that!..." So annoying.
/end rant.
Anyways, you think more players around the league would get the idea that maybe its not such a bad thing to show some excitement when they score the way Ovechkin does...then again, maybe thats one of the many things that makes him so special.

They talked about this goal all night on TSN. People were saying it's better than the Phoenix goal.
I like how Ovechkin cheers like a football player when he scores a touchdown. Maybe American fans can relate to that.

wow does anyone think he catches Malkin in the scoring race? Another hart trophy? That is amazing individual play. He currently only sits 7 points behind him...with Ovechkin, anything is possible...I absolutely think he could catch Malkin.

if pittsburgh makes the playoffs, malkin wins the scoring title by a landslide. but if they continue to slump like this, they'll miss the playoffs, and he'll miss the scoring title.
