From Rotoworld
Scott Walker-W-Hurricanes Oct. 6 - 3:25 pm et Scott Walker underwent successful surgery on his left hand on Monday morning.
The Carolina forward required the procedure due to a torn ligament and he is expected to miss up to the next six weeks of action. Adjust your lineups accordingly.

With Williams and now Walker out of the lineup, Patrick Eaves is a player to watch in Carolina, as hes now their best right winger and still has untapped potential. Maybe this is the chance he needs to prove he can put up points.

Yes on Eaves. I grabbed him on all my teams even before Walker's and Williams injuries (in deep leagues). He was ahead of Walker on the depth chart even before the injury.
Also, for deep leagues, look for who gets the other top 2 RW job. That could be a real sleeper for the first 2 months of the season. Could be Ruutu or maybe even LaRose or Bayda.

Update on Canes lines.... Eaves was removed from the top line during the 10/11 game. Ruutu moved up to Staal's line and Cullen moved up to Brindy's. Eaves was barely visible for that third period and for the 10/13 game vs. Detroit. Interesting to see what happens 10/15.
