I went to see Wall-E twice this weekend, and I have to say this movie is one of the most amazing films I have ever seen. It's not just another cute Pixar film. It's definitely cute. Wall-E and Eve are two of the cutest and coolest characters Disney/Pixar has ever created, but the film itself has such a broad scope and the storytelling is top notch....way beyond what we've come to expect in an animated kids film. The first half of the film is almost almost completely void of dialogue, yet you still know whats going on simply through Wall-E's bleeps and bloops. The sound team (same team that did the robots in Star Wars) did an amazing job of conveying emotion and humor with little to no spoken words throughout the film. I really can't express how incredible this movie is. It's like a Charlie Chaplin film wrapped in 2001 Space Odyssey. It's intellegent, it's visually stunning, yet it's still adorable as can be. By FAR the best movie I've seen all year, and probably the best animated movie I've ever seen.

Sounds pretty awesome, Pixar movies never fails (well, except Cars).
Don't think I'll go see it on the big screen but I'll definitely watch it at some point.

Even Cars didn't do so bad. Look at how many kids you see wearing Cars merchandise and all the toys from Cars.
Wall-E looks good. but i just can't wait for Toy Story 3.

Cars was really popular with kids but it just didn't do it for me and quite a few other people I've asked. Haven't seen Ratatouille yet either, anybody know how that one is?

I've seen pretty much every Disney film. I loved Cars. I thought it was boring in parts, but overall a pretty cool movie. Cars came in #2 behind Pirates 2 the year it was released. Ratatouille is just ok. It got a lot of critical praise, and an Oscar for it's story. It really is a very unique story, but I don't know....it was kind of like drinking flat pop. It was still a Pixar movie so it was better than most animated movies, but it didn't have the fizz of the other Pixar films. It was Pixar's lowest grossing film I think, but it still came in the top ten last year.
But I'm telling you Wall-E....is just down right incredible. Best Pixar film by a mile.
