I get this message, more and more frequently since like January, saying that Internet Explorer can't open the page, Operation Aborted or something like that. Then i refresh, and it works. It's not a typical "Page cannot be opened" message within the window, but it's a popup that just pisses me right off. I know it's not spyware or anything, it's a legit windows error. anybody know whats up?

does it say something like "too many connections" or something like that? I get that sometimes...I just wait a bit and it goes away...

nope its not that one... that's within the explorer window itself. This pops up and makes the standard windows "bong". The message says "Internet Explorer cannot open the page hockeyutopia.proboards100.com/index. Operation Aborted"

I never use internet explorer so I don't know if its a problem that could happen to others as well or if its just something to do with your cpu Zoom...
The too many connections error happens rarely, but it does happen and I don't know why.
Did you just install Internet Explorer 7.0? If you did, maybe something corruptted the cpu...or if you haven't installed it yet, try installing 7.0 or maybe try using Firefox which is better anyway.

yeah im using IE7... never had any problems though besides HU. odd.
the too many connections error refers (i think) to too many connections on the proboards server. in other words, too many people are currently on all of the forums offered by proboards. i've actually found myself on 4 at once sometimes.....

I have never had a problem with IE. Until recently i had never use firefox. But i got this flash drive about 4 months ago. and it has this program on it called U3. It lets you download stuff like Firefox, and other stuff. I downloaded Firefox to give it a try. I kinda liked FireFox better. Now i can take Firefox any where....problem is I always seem to lose the Flash drive (Since I downloaded Firefox). I lost it 3 times in 3 days. twice in one day. O and it had this program where i can view Acrobat Reader Files without having to download Acrobat Reader.
