1. Format is user friendly and nicely organized 2. Owner and Mods participate in discussions 3. Puckhound's lines section is perhaps one of the nicest pieces of work regarding fantasy hockey on the net - hat's off to Puckhound 4. No trashy advertising saying "you are a winner you are the 999,999 visitor" 5. Users are respectful to each other. The absence of demeaning, immature, stupid comments is wonderful. My wish list for HU 1. More room in the sig or instructions about how to expand our sig info across the box - someone here has done that but can't remember who (maybe Andrew) - is it cut and paste? 2. More contribution from Andrew, Senswings, Excelerator, Buckeye and Papercut Suicide - some of my favorite commentators 3. Hockey Hitman gets a Cup again in Tampa - whatta homer - great job HHM - I am thoroughly enjoying Hockey Utopia

I agree with Shoeless on his points. The HU setup is starting to grow on me... I think I was originally too comfortable with Drop the Puck and I'm afraid of change, but I'm beginning to like it more and more. As for the suggestions... 1. If you're talking about centering your sig, it's done the same way you would center things in a post: TEXT/IMAGE[/centerr] ... except close bracket properly. Nothing too special. It could be aligned left, center, or right using that format. 2. You caught me... my apologies. I've been a bit busy with a move, and personal stuff, but mostly been hanging around the wrong forum. Sorry about that. I should be around more often now, I'll make sure to visit much more regularly (HU is still at the top of the 'Favourites' list). I did actually have the first Leafs report semi-prepared, but I was taking my time and got behind a couple games, etc. Should have it posted by this Friday (busy week). 3. We're not miracle workers Shoe.. maybe if HU's still up and running in 2015 or so we could work something out

I also agree with Shoeless' points. And I don't think enough appreciation is given to Puckhound for the work he does (for free). A lot of people take it for granted and they won't realize it until he's gone. Yeah, the HU layout has grown on me too. I can't even remember what DTP was like anymore. Wait, just came to me. Both setups have/had their positives. I'm guilty of not being around but I just don't have as much time anymore. Coincidentally, I just accepted a job today at a newspaper in another suburb of Edmonton to go with my already busy school schedule. Personally, I can go without HH getting the cup again until the Oilers have another run like the 80s. But it's a tall order to expect HU to still be up and running 83 years from now. I'm also with j2kim on the "Quick Reply" box. I live and die by it. It saves a lot of time. In particular, I did enjoy this thread. Can't think of much else other than

Sorry I have to say this but I just hate the sucking-up here. Just look at the name of the post ''Things I like about Hockey Utopia'' . Utopia is a good forum especially with Puckhound's post which is great but, no disrepect Shoeless, I find this post useless.
Sorry I had to say that, but it had to be said.

We all know the saying, and pretty much everyone here follows it, although its not really even an official rule, nobody until now has ever made me want to point it out.... The saying goes: "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." Say what you want about the site, you have the right and I encourage it, but don't say anything about another members posts. This is not something that is up for debate, I'm letting it be known now that this is unacceptable in my eyes and will not be tolerated, no matter how minor or insignificant anyone else thinks it may be. Thank you.

i like the layout of the site..
line combos are great..
improvemnts that could be made: possibly dividing up the fantasy hockey advice in a couple of diff sections.. for example, a start/bench section.. trade and WW pick up section.. not exactly sure how crowded it is in there right now.. but im sure as the site grows some more adjustments will be made.

I sometimes have wondered about the same thing - I guess I think that who to start and bench might best fit in gameday discussion which has little traffic - but to this point the board seems to be handling the load - most threads get responded to, which I think is important. Alex - thanks for your view - I guess we are different - I come from the school that suggests letting people know what you like and what works for you is perhaps more effective feedback than negative stuff. But that's just me - thankfully the diversity we have is what makes for good stuff - I am glad we both participate here at HU.

It seems like every other hockey related site is filled with either trolls, or with nothing useful to talk about. But this site is alwyas filled with nothing but interesting hockey talk and fantasy info.

Thank you so much guys for the great work. I've only been a member since Oct. 06, but I love this site so much. I already have over 450 posts. I love the people (posters) here. Everyone is very insightful and seems to know quite a bit about hockey. It's definitely my number 1 place to go for fantasy advice.

I like the News bar and Leagues leading scorers on the top. Every time I see St. Louis up there I think up how I traded Vrbata away for St. Louis. I say to myself " what an Idiot that guy is". But then I think about in my other league ( in sig) I think about how some one dropped him and I didn't move on him ( I could really use him right now) and I say to myself "What an Idiot"
