Was there a thread about East side on here before? I'm not sure if it was here or elsewhere but Anyways, has anybody played it? Last time they came out with a new one was 2007. I downloaded the Demo and I like it a lot. But I was wondering if anyone had bought it or played the full version? Its $34.99 and I was considering buying it but wanted to know if the full version is really worth it. If you've never heard of it, here is their website: www.eastsidehockeymanager.net/main.php

Interesting... I've never seen or heard of this, but this is fascinating nonetheless.

I looked over the web site, honestly I'm not sure I understand what it is.

I haven't played it in a while, but your basically the GM. You make all the calls, but you never really play the games, there simulated. You basically build a Dynasty with actual players and you can do it with almost any type of league in the world. NHL, AHL, KHL, Major Juniors, Swedish leagues, ect. I'm not sure however if the Dynasty ends after a certain number of years like in the EA games.
I've heard the development of NHL Eastside has been put on hold indefinitely, but you can still buy the 2005 or the 2007 version.

there's a similar thing that's free called hockeyarena.net. but HA uses fake players with life-like qualities. i played it for about a year, and it was pretty fun.
