It's hard to say with everything that's going on in Ottawa. Honestly though, I feel that Spezza, Heatley, Alfredsson and Kovalev are elite talents and they'll find a way to produce. Everyone has bad years, but the real talents don't let them span seasons. I feel Heatley (if a Sen) will come out firing, if for no other reason than to make himself undeniably marketable. Kovalev is a solid player for Spezza, despite his 'taking plays off tag'. And Alfredsson is still a player, just not a PPG player anymore. Anyway, point is that I think Spezza will bounce back with a solid season. +/- may not be great, but I don't think it'll be a handicap. I think he'll put up PPG numbers though, and he is one of the point producers that isn't afraid to go to the sin bin. Not a PM juggernaut, but none of this 20PMs crap I hate to see in my studs! lol

I think this season will be a vast improvement to last season. Last season was a bottoming out due to the loss of a many core players. They have more stable goal tending an more offense now so I think there will still be minus to go around not near as bad as last season IMO
