I really want to get Doughty and was thinking of offering
my Vanek/Coburn for his Hemsky/Doughty
The GM that has Doughty is really thin at wing (especially goal scoring) as he has Simon Gagne, Martin Erat and Kristian Huselius as his other 3 wings (not alot of goal scoring outside of Gagne).
Do you guys think it's a fair offer or do you think it's not enough or overpayment?
Thanks for your thoughts.

Well... I'm a big Vanek fan and I'm a firm believer that he can become a perennial 40 Goal and 80 Pts player for the next decade. Considering you have Kovalchuk/Semin/Zetterberg/Gaborik oddly enough he becomes expendable so use it to your advantage. Watching Doughty all season last year I believe he has the ability and support around him that he can put up 50-60 pts from the blueline and the prospect of matching him up with Burns/Green/Bogosian would be probably the most devastating and young D core in your league for another decade. I say if you can pull off this deal it'll be huge because I'm sure Hemsky owners have been frustrated with him as far as "what could have been" as far as production which seems to disappoint some every season. I would have to say this is a fair deal if he is still a bit weary maybe add a little more to satisfy him, but I feel like it's relatively fair deal and something can easily be worked out of it if the other GM is willing and not a Kings fan like myself lol.

I agree with kingsfan. If you want Doughty and you have several solid wingers then this deal is good for you.
However, if this guy is a Hemsky fan who thinks along the lines of Wayne Gretzky (Gretz believes Hemskey is the most skilled guy in the league) then he might not take the deal.
