I have a question for experienced fantasy hockey pool'ers.
I'm currently barely in 1st place, and I've managed my available starts very carefully, and they're very balanced.
Unlike some of the owners on my league, I am in the position to be able to drop players and pickup players who play on the last day of the regular season, and run with an almost full lineup.
Is this a bad practice (frowned upon), or is it a perk that comes from managing waiver/FA moves and available start moves well throughout the season?
I want to get some opinions before I proceed with this. I would be dropping and picking up players for about 6 roster spots on the day before the last day of the season.

You'll get mixed oppinions. Its within the rules and if you would otherwise loose those starts I would do it. If anyone complains it seems to me you could defend that you did not want starts to go to waste.
In an H2H league I'd feel different because there are no limited starts and it would be streaming. Since you are just filling available starts at the last minute seems fine to me.

do it! bravo for having done so well with your moves... you've probably had to make some sacrifices earlier to preserve those moves, so you've earned the right to do this now. I think it's 100% OK.
the only place it's frowned upon is in a keeper league. I've seen that before where guys know they're quitting the league, but haven't told anyone, and they pull a stunt like that. I think I've just been inspired to make a rule against it in my league, actually.

I would do it. I currently used up all my moves for the season, but they guy that I'm up against in the championship is switching up guys daily. Lucky for me I am still winning! I HOPE I CAN KEEP IT UP, BUT HE SURE DOES HAVE THE ADVANTAGE

Absolutely do it. Its called strategy. If other owners don't like it they can vote to change the rules next year.
