Might say this in the article... i didn't read it... but they're saying Clem was sent down only because he has a 2-way contract, while Weekes is only 1-way. Not only does NJ not want to lose Weekes, but they don't want a rival team to get him. Why Weekes doesn't have a 2-way contract is beyond me...

Oh yea, that makes sense. I forgot about emergency recall, it usually ends up only applying to goalies anyway. I would think that's the only reason he got sent down instead of Weeks.
I think he'll be brought back sometime after the trade deadline. Unless Brodeur starts every game until the end of the year.
