He was diagnosed with the illness on Thursday. The report was confirmed by Blue Jackets general manager Scott Howson shortly after Saturday's 7-3 loss to Dallas. Mason will be closely monitored by the club, but will continue to play. ----------------------------------------------------- I can't believe hes still playing despite being sick!

I hope its season threatening! Just kidding I wish him the best. But having drafted LeClair I'll never forgive him for laying total and complete 100% waste of a high pick. My fault for not picking him up hahahahha. He sure is showing more and more that he is for real. To play through something like that is incerdible.

If the CBJ want to stay in the the playoff hunt, they need to acquire a serious backup that can spell Mason. Mason has started 18 games in a row, including several back-to-back. I just don't think Dubielewic is the answer.
