From Rotoworld:
Kevin Bieksa-D - Canucks Oct. 12 - 6:59 am et Kevin Bieksa left Saturday night's 5-4 overtime win, over the Flames, with a knee injury in the first period. He sustained the injury after colliding with Calgary forward Wayne Primeau. "It's tough to say, it's just a bit sore with some swelling," he said. "We'll find out [Sunday], I guess. We'll have a few more tests and we'll find out for sure." Bieksa missed 47 games with a right leg injury last season. Keep your fingers crossed that he will not miss much action this time around.Source: Vancouver Sun
Kevin Bieksa-D- Canucks Oct. 13 - 10:30 am et Kevin Bieksa underwent an MRI on Sunday as he suffered a knee injury on Saturday.
The results are still unknown. "It's still stiff, there's still some swelling and it's still a bit sore," Bieksa said on Sunday. "But it's not as bad as I thought it would be." The Canucks are hoping that the injury is just a sprain and that he will be able to return to the lineup in the next two weeks. If there is damage to the knee, it will be a lot longer than that. Bieksa had 15 goals and 42 points two seasons ago before missing 47 games with a lacerated calf last season. Reserve Bieksa for now.

While Bieksa will undergo another MRI on Tuesday, Canuck doctors think that he has a mild sprain of the medial collateral ligament. Bieksa is looking to play on Sunday in Chicago. Bieksa fantasy owners can finally exhale with this news.
