Kubina (knee) may have suffered a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and may need surgery, according to reports on Toronto's FAN590. (rotowire)

Its actually a sprained MCL, not a torn ACL...
A torn ACL is about 10x worse.
I dont have the link but its on TSN and Sportsnet.

I was reading on Sportsnet or something that they were saying Kubina has at least a sprain, but they don't know the full extent of the injury at this point.. or they're keeping it quiet. Estimates that I've heard have guessed anywhere between 2 months and the season (granted, these estimates weren't made by any medical professionals or anything).
