I would say 2008 winter classic at 2.6 (I had to look up the rating) don't keep those on the top of my mind This year's winter classic competed with bowl games so it couldn't top last year. So i'm gonna say last years with the snow and Princess Crosby.

Nope... that was a pretty solid one, definitely top 3 since the second lockout... but not quite as high as the top.

It has to be a Stanley Cup finals game. Game 7 of the 2001 finals?

First all star game featuring both Cidny and Alex?
I found conflicting data on winter classic. I think 2009 ratings were higher than 2008 but I did like 2008 better.

yeah i found the 09 classic at 2.9 overnight, while the 08 was 2.6.
I'll also reveal that Game 6 of the 2008 Finals (Det vs. Pit) was one of the highest, earning a 4.0 overnight rating... just a hair behind the event that I'm looking for, which earned a 4.1.

WINNER.
j2kim retains the trophy yet again.
Team USA has won a record 7 silver medals since ice hockey was played in the Olympic Games. Canada and Czechoslovakia/Czech Republic each have 4, while Russia, Finland, and Sweden each have 2.
Team USA won silver in 1920, 1924, 1932, 1952, 1956, 1972, and 2002.
